We would like to kindly invite you to launch of the Maastricht Experimental Research in and Through the Arts Network (MERIAN) on 24 May 2022 at 14:30 at the Jan van Eyck Academie. During this event, we will share information about MERIAN and the institutional collaboration that makes it as well as about current MERIAN research projects and our plans to come. There will be time to mix and mingle, as well as to celebrate MERIAN with a drink.
In the spirit of the MERIAN core values, both Marlies Vermeulen and Antye Guenther have prepared to present their work in accordance with the requirements of their research practices. Marlies will set up her Institute of Cartopology at the Jan van Eyck Academie on the week of the event. During these days, we invite you to visit Marlies and discover what the Institute of Cartopology is and does in the context of MERIAN. Antye will give a performance that is at part of her PhD research during the event on 24 May.
You can find more information about the program including how to sign up to visit Marlies in the MERIAN website.
Note that MERIAN started already in 2021-2022. This formal launch has been postponed due to the then applying Covid regulations.
