Merian: doing artistic research in collaboration
a symposium on artistic research practices
On March 20th 2022, the event “MERIAN: doing artistic research” will take place in Maastricht. Merian is a current initiative to explore the potential of a new Maastricht-based graduate school in artistic research. The idea for Merian is for artists and academics from various backgrounds to work in a shared, transdisciplinary research environment, moving between institutions, and addressing societal challenges.
The Merian initiative is a collaboration between Zuyd Hogeschool (Research Centre for Arts, Autonomy, and the Public Sphere), Maastricht University (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Faculty of Humanities and Sciences) and the Van Eyck Academy. The event is organized in conjunction with the Annual Conference of the Maastricht Centre for Arts and Culture, Conservation and Heritage (MACCH), which takes place on March 18th and 19th.
The program of March 20th will soon be announced on this website. Registration will also take place through this website. If you want to be updated on the programme and registration, send an email to merian[at]lectoraataok.nl.
